I am doing some research on a chap called John Bedell Stainford MacIlwaine, Artist & Inventor, who at one time (early 1920's) was resident in Annaghroe House, Caledon, Co. Tyrone where I understand he had a poultry breading/ egg prduction business. I would really like to find out more about his time in Caledon and his time in Glaslough, Co. Monaghan and would be grateful for any information that you might have?

Is this the same Mc Ilwaine that has his portrait in the Hugh lane, Dublin painted by Walter Osborne + 2 of his own landscapes & also presumably donated a game of solitaire to the national Museum? If so, please could you guide me towards more information on him also?
